ANZAC DAY

"They shall not grow old, as we that are left to grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them."

Yesterday was ANZAC day, marking the 97th anniversary of the ANZAC's landing at Gallipolli, as well as marking a day where we remember all of those (soldiers, nurses, orderlies, other important roles during conflicts, and family members of those serving) who have sacrificed for our country. We particularly remember those who have made the greatest sacrifice when they have lost their lives.

We learnt  about the landing at ANZAC cove, the poppies in Flanders Fields, and the history of ANZAC biscuits.
