  5. Hello, the most important building in Kaust is the university. The university is where everyone's parents work (fact about kaust) Did you know without the university 99% of kaust would have no jobs? The university also contains all the new technology that just arrived in Kaust and also teaches us about how it works. The university also helps us re-use anything and everything that's in Kaust. You can go to the university and go inside it and it also has a cafeteria that everyone's parents goes to for their lunch accept my mom and dad. The university has a museum and the university is a very interesting place that everyone goes to. There is also an auditorium where parents and music teachers have concerts for fun or to show what we have learned by working and researching. Do you have a university near you? What's your most special building? Do you have a museum in your university? Does your mom and dad work at a university? Does your mom and dad have a job in the city?

    1. wow, it sounds like an amazing University. We are going to have a look at some photos of your University tomorrow on the Internet. There are two Universities near us, Lincoln University and Canterbury University, but we dont spend any time there.
Special Buildings - well its a bit sad really. Most of the important, old or favourite buildings in our city have been destroyed or badly damaged in the earthquakes we have been having over the last 1 1/2 years. There have been thousands of buildings demolished since the first earthquake and we cant even get into the centre of the city because its "Red Zoned". That means its too unsafe because of the buildings that are still being demolished.
Our school had buildings fall down, 8 classrooms, staffroom, office area and our hall. We could not go to school for along time. we have had over 10,000 quakes.
Lots of our mums and dads work in the city, but lots of the jobs have moved to other areas in Christchurch because the buildings are not safe or fallen down.
We have a museum n the city, its old and luckily it didnt fall down.

  6. In August, it goes above 50 degrees celsius! This afternoon, it was 37 degrees celsius. Our most dangerous animal in Saudi Arabia is a scorpion. A scorpion is very dangerous because sometimes scorpions can kill you! In Saudi Arabia it's hot because its just a desert. How hot does it get in your city? What is the most dangerous animal in your city?

  7. No we do not have a school shop. Do you have a school shop. In our cafeteria we do not have to pay. My favorite food in the cafeteria is a burger. We go to lunch at 11:30. On Wednesday we get burgers and cookies. Sometimes I do not eat the food in the cafeteria, I eat food from my home.
